Salthouse Harbour Hotel

Prior to demolition, scaffolding was erected complete with Monoflex sheeting to ensure no dust is released into external areas. Having removed and disposed of asbestos roof, a central chute system will be put in place so that debris can be placed in skips within the actual building ready for disposal off site. The steel frame will then be removed by use of oxyacetylene cutting equipment. The scaffolding will be dropped to each floor level as work proceeds. Site to be left clean and tidy ready for archeological dig, after which the area will be broken up and cleared away to a licensed recycling area."
